Behind Enemy Lines - Burma 1944

This book has been published in memory of my Father Arthur Harry Isaac born 4th July 1917 and passed away on 29th November 2000 aged 83. He fought on the Arakan Front in 1943 and also served as one of  Major General Orde Wingate’s Chindits in Burma in 1944 during Operation Thursday. This book is as a reminder to the world  and to raise awareness of the many thousands of soldiers who fought and died and those who survived the two Chindit campaigns in Burma in 1943 and 1944.

Also in remembrance of all those other allied soldiers and airmen who fought and served in the Burma campaign.

All the soldiers who served in Burma during World War 2  deserve to be remembered for their bravery, hardships and sacrifices they made to make the Burma campaign a success and winning that part of the war.

This book is published in remembrance to all those who fought and died and  those who survived the Burma campaign of World War 2,  between 1941 – 1945.
